Services LLC expands their service capabilities by acquiring Quebecor
World Universal Press.
September 6 , 2005 – Rockland, MA - Graphic Services
LLC has acquired the manufacturing assets of Quebecor World Universal
Press’s Westwood, MA facility, located at 75 University Ave.
As part of this acquisition, Graphic Services has offered employment
to all of Quebecor’s existing employees. Graphic Services plans
to maintain and operate the Westwood facility in an effort to better
augment and service their existing customer base, as well as expand
their market share within various vertical markets.
“This acquisition is an integral part of our strategy to expand
our manufacturing capabilities to better serve the needs to our specific
target market sectors,” states William J. Fitzgerald, Graphic
Services President and CEO. “We have identified those market segments
that are the most attractive for future growth and are dedicated to
pursuing their potential.”
This new facility will allow Graphic Services to expand their sheet
fed and web printing capabilities, in addition to expanding their bindery
and pre-press services.

will be able to expand our capabilities to meet the changing needs of
our existing, as well as prospective customer base,” states Fitzgerald.

This acquisition solidifies Graphic Services position as being one of
the largest privately-held print and distribution companies in the Northeast.
They currently serve three distinct market segments: Publishing, Commercial
and Financial Services.

England with annual sales of over $30 million. With this new acquisition,
they are expected to increase their sales volume to an estimated $45
million by the end of 2006.
Graphic Services is a 15 year old company consisting of two facilities
totaling close to 200,000 sq. ft. of space. Their primary facility is
located in Rockland, which houses all of their printing equipment and
a majority of their staff, while their fulfillment facility is located

A new brand roll-out initiative is currently being planned for this
